Stars from the series "Stolen Life" meet with Varna residents on October 12th

A constellation of favorite actors, directors and screenwriters will be brought together for the XVII International Red Cross and Health Film Festival. On October 12th, even before the official start of the cinema marathon, locals will be able to chat with part of the creative team of the hit series "Stolen Life". The meeting with the producers Lubo Neikov and Evtim Miloshev and the actors Emil Markov (Assoc. Prof. Zahariev) and Nikola Mutafov (Dr. Penev) is of free entrance. It will start at 17:00 in hall “Plenarna” of the municipality, and immediately after it guests will watch two episodes of the series.


Among the guests of the festival will be Vasil Mihaylov, Philip Trifonov, Stoyan Aleksiev, Anton Radichev, Lyuben Chatalov, Orlin Pavlov, Natalia Bardskaja, Alex Surchadjieva, Ivan Laskin, scriptwriter Georgi Mishev, director of Sofia Film Festival Stefan Kitanov, director of The National Film Center Kamen Balkanski, the directors Kostadin Bonev ("The Sinking of Sozopol") and Ivan Pavlov - President of the Union of Bulgarian Film Makers, who also presents his own film in the cinema.


The international jury will also receive the Bulgarian support of actress Yana Marinova, famous for her roles in "Glass House", "Family", "XI a".


Actor Bashar Rahal, has also registered and joined the “Donate Blood, Get a Ticket” campaign – joining the efforts of volunteers supporting the social experiment and becoming the new face of the campaign:


Tomorrow, October 10th, is the last day that Varna citizens can donate blood and receive tickets for the paid screenings at the festival in Theatre: "Bulgaran". The donations will take place in the building of the Rectorate of the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov", and all participants will have the chance to watch one of the emblematic films from the festival program: "Stalin's Sofa" (France, Portugal, 2016) with Gerard Depardio, the last film of Andrzej Wajda "Residual Images" (Poland, 2016), or, "Fortuna" (Italy, 2017), awarded the best female role for actress Jasmine Trinca at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
